Himalayan Birding Experience
Day 1 – Arrival in Sattal
Arrive in Sattal in the afternoon and relax at your accommodation.
In the evening, enjoy a guided bird photography session at Prabhu’s Bird Photography Hide, one of the best locations to photograph Himalayan birds.
Overnight stay: Sattal
Day 2 – Helicopter Transfer to Munsiyari
Early morning drive to Haldwani Chopper Station.
Board a scenic helicopter flight to Munsiyari offering breathtaking Himalayan views.
After check-in and rest, head out for an evening birding session around forest trails.
Overnight stay: Munsiyari
Day 3 – Birding Around Munsiyari
Morning and evening birdwatching sessions exploring alpine forests and mountain landscapes in search of rare Himalayan species.
Overnight stay: Munsiyari
Day 4 – Full Day High-Altitude Birding
Another full day of guided birding focusing on high-altitude Himalayan specialties across pristine mountain habitats.
Overnight stay: Munsiyari
Day 5 – Return to Sattal
Morning birding session in Munsiyari.
Later take the helicopter back to Haldwani followed by a scenic drive to Sattal.
Evening birdwatching session in the forests of Chanfi.
Overnight stay: Sattal
Day 6 – Ranikhet Birding Excursion
Early morning drive to Ranikhet for birding in beautiful oak and pine forests rich in Himalayan birdlife.
Return to Sattal for an evening forest trail birding session.
Overnight stay: Sattal
Day 7 – Shyamkhet Birding & Departure
Morning birding session at Shyamkhet.
After breakfast, drive to Kathgodam for departure.
