Himalayan Birding Experience
Explore the breathtaking landscapes of Kumaon Himalayas with our carefully planned birdwatching itinerary. This journey covers rich forest habitats, scenic valleys, and high-altitude birding locations.
Day 1 – Arrival & Birding in Sattal
Arrive at Kathgodam and drive to Sattal. After check-in, enjoy a guided birding session at the forest trails and bird photography hide.
Overnight stay in Sattal
Day 2 – Forest Birding & Travel to Munsiyari
Early morning birding in oak and pine forests near Ranikhet. After breakfast, continue the scenic drive to Munsiyari. Evening rest and local exploration.
Overnight stay in Munsiyari.
Day 3 – Birding Around Munsiyari
Morning and evening birdwatching sessions exploring alpine forests, mountain slopes and peaceful valleys.
Overnight stay in Munsiyari.
Day 4 – Full Day High-Altitude Birding
Another full day dedicated to spotting rare Himalayan bird species across scenic trails and forest habitats.
Overnight stay in Munsiyari
Day 5 – Return to Sattal
Morning birding session in Munsiyari followed by a scenic drive back to Sattal. Evening relaxation or short birding walk.
Overnight stay in Sattal.
Day 6 – Forest Trails & Photography Hide
Morning birding along forest trails. In the evening, enjoy a bird photography session at the bird hide.
Overnight stay in Sattal.
Day 7 – Departure
Early morning birding session. After breakfast, drive back to Kathgodam for departure.
